Career highlight: Four-time Romanian National champion (91kg titles in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014)
Mihai Nistor cannot be underestimated in the competition’s heaviest division. The Romanian is a fighter who puts relentless pressure on his opponent from the first bell to the last, setting a high pace from mid-distance and landing a variation of crushing blows, in particular his favored strong straight left.
A four-time Romanian champion who has won his national 91kg title in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014, Nistor is a pressure fighter who never gives his opponent a second to rest, stalking them around the ring and ultimately tiring them out and patiently waiting for his time to pounce.
He has compiled a record of 4-2 for Italia Thunder in the World Series of Boxing, where he wasranked third in the individual rankings, and boasts a win over fellow APB heavyweight Fernando Ghiglione in the competition.
Nistor can mix it with the best and, when needed, charges in with his head dipped and windmills in with hard over hand rights. His power, track record and gritty determination make Mihai Nistor a considerable force to be reckoned with amongst the Super Heavyweights.
