Career highlight: Beijing 2008 Olympian
Mohammed Arjaoui possesses a clubbing right hand which he uses to hammer into his opponents guard. The Moroccan likes to plant his feet and unload with sweeping hooks to the body and head and is seemingly unaffected by returning punches.
The burly Moroccan has qualified for the Olympics once before, representing his native country in Beijing 2008 where he was eventually edged out in the tournament by American sensation Denotay Wilder.
The experience he gathered from competing at the Beijing Games will certainly give him an edge over the other members of the 91kg category; Arjaoui has had his taste of the Olympics and it has whetted his appetite for another bite. He has also taken part in the groundbreaking AIBA tournament World Series of Boxing (WSB) with former franchise Istanbulls.
In the ring, he typically looks to impose his large physical frame in a fight and reach his target with long curling punches from the outside. He is hungry, dangerous and will provide a huge threat to anyone on his way to Rio.
