Career highlight: Gold medalist – EUBC European Cup Kharkov 2010

Vyacheslav Kyslytsyn is a vastly experienced boxer who won a gold medal on home turf in the European Cup held in Kharkov in 2010.

Crimea-born Kyslytsyn has also fought in AIBA’s pioneering tournament the World Series of Boxing (WSB) where he campaigned for his home franchise Ukraine Otamans.

The Floyd Mayweather Jr. fan, who cites the American boxer’s ‘manner and style in the ring’ as inspiration for his own career, has openly acclaimed the concept of AIBA Pro Boxing (APB), seeing it as an outstanding positive for both the sport of boxing and the careers of boxers like himself.

“I think it will be exciting!” exclaimed the strapping light welterweight. “It’s great that we can get a step closer to becoming a professional boxer in APB. All I can say is the tournament will be impressive and also give people the opportunity to further their careers in sport.”

A strong and skilled fighter, the Ukrainian is eager to take the opportunity to better his own career that the APB clearly offers.
